Achieving anything of importance does not happen unless we are disciplined. Such discipline is also required when one pursues a complex designation such as PMI PMP Certification.
If one wants to achieve excellence, you can get there today, but to get there, as of this second, we must quit doing less-than-excellent work.

At Education Edge, we continue to provide support to all the folks even after PMP Course is over. Next 40 days or so after the course are critical to our success and using our time wisely is important.
Some tips for success:
1. We must Go Over PMBOK GUIDE. PMBOK GUIDE is the key to success.
2. Blog is a great read while you are sitting in the office, let's say, for example, in a meeting and you are not required to pay attention. Use that time to review the blog.
3. BLOG is not an alternative to PMBOK. Won't that be nice if it was so easy ;)
4. Please be PRODUCTIVE - productivity is your intent to use you time, energy and intellect to maximize positive outcomes.
5. Learning is a process not an event so I strongly recommend everyone to start enjoying the experience.
6. Very Important - Use the Copy ALL, if everyone benefits from your question.
If we have the momentum and time on our side, does it matter if we read 20, 30 or 40 pages in a day. Let's study as much as you can, I believe best learning happens when we are not reading PMBOK but going over what we covered.

Finding yourself is a journey within and is an ongoing process.
Can we just continue to find ourselves or should we at a point of time start “Creating” ourselves?
I think it is when I started creating myself I truly found myself. Now the journey is more meaningful and I really know “what is it that I want”. The idea of my life or my existence is not necessarily to be the best, always be a front runner or create a business empire. Actually all that continues to fall in place due to the fact that I know what I really want and what makes me happy.
A strong vision and pursuing the vision with actions that help attain the future state are a must to increase the level of happiness in life.
The PMP course that started on March 9 will end this Saturday. On the final day we look forward to having everyone as we will wrap up the 6 week session with stakeholders and procurement knowledge areas. 6 weeks of mutual learning and now it’s time we must prepare and get ourselves PMP Certified.

What’s next after PMP, it was something that I thought about for quite some time So I decided it was time to be more strategic than tactical. And my pursuit towards PgMP begin.
Passed it with Above Target last year. Feels like yesterday!! Since then we have conducted 4 PgMP courses. Over 60 folks have been part of this journey with Education Edge Canada - A PMI REP and IIBA EEP.
We will be starting another one in May.
